I like to go hiking and camping and usually leave my stuff in the back of the Jeep. I also sleep in the back of the Jeep at the trail head the night before I head out on the trail hiking. Given this as my motivation to clean things up a bit and to be more comfortable, I built a drawer storage unit. Doing this gives me great admiration for people that actually have the right tools and skills to do woodworking, as I have neither.
Anyway, after taking some measurements, I decided to go with one large drawer with a compartment behind it that can be accessed from the sides (from the rear passenger doors). I used 3/4 plywood for most of it, except the bottom of the main box, drawer and divider which are 1/2 ply. Just my luck the pricey 3/4" AC plywood I got from Lowes was warped, making things a bit harder to work with, which was a bummer.
It is not quite done yet, waiting on some hardware to arrive, but in the mean time here is my humble effort.
