I tried to do a search for this idea and I didn't find it, if it exists please accept my apologies for duplicating.

Let's see your jeep when you got it and what it looks like today.

Here's my before and after. I got it from a fellow forum member who started an awesome build then I kept the build going and still have more parts on order at this moment! Before is about spring 2014 and after is about winter 2014

It exists--several times--but, what the heck: Many of us have changed our vehicles even more since buying them and this is always a fun topic ...

Then ...

Now (note that despite appearances, this is on the official "Road to Nowhere" in Big Bend Ranch State Park) ...

Click his name. On his profile page, click "Add to ignore list". He won't bother you again except when someone else quotes him or just brings him up. :-)

I wish I had unlimited funds to offset all the bad decisions I have made and have had to correct thus far. It's a live and learn process I guess!!!! I have done all the "work" myself though. Lift, leather, bumper...

BlazeJK 12-19-2014 03:25 PM

So I studied all 3 pics for about 10 mins and finally found Waldo. You removed the cushy padding from the rear cage. Nice!! Looks great!! I really should try that.

LOL!! Of course, I keed.

Love the wrap. And everything else. Beautiful rig, brother...

Awesome series of photos showing the progression.... looks great and definitely a sense of pride when you do the hard work yourself. Very nice

Money pit is definitely a good descriptor. It's like an addiction, can't go for too long without buying jeep parts...

I really liked the series of pictures highlighting the transformation some have posted and I'd like to do the same showing the in- between of the build.

This is essentially when I brought her home. Already lifted with rock krawler suspension sitting on 38x15.5 mtz's.

Attachment 588363

Then it was soon time to swap out the stock rear bumper. Settled on knuckles offroad

Attachment 588364

Poison spyder fenders was next on the list
Attachment 588365

Waiting for powder coat on the fenders, took the top off and put on the safari straps and spiderweb shade
Attachment 588366

Swapped out the sliders with evo sliders and the skins. Also got the belly protected underneath with a mix of aluminum and steel skids
Attachment 588367

Then got the spare in and added the skewer to the carrier

Attachment 588368

Pretty much as she sits. Have more parts on order and there's endless number of smaller mods completed on her, just showing some of the bigger items. :thumb:

So my jeep started as a stock jeep with a lift in within 7 hrs of owning it.

Attachment 588383

And then thats where the other mods started coming in.

Attachment 588384

And i had to go bigger after having a f150 with 12" of lift.

Attachment 588385

I knew i needed to change the height so i put on my f150s 39" iroks with a 2.5 bb

Attachment 588386

And of course i painted and added a leveling kit in front and went too 40s.

Attachment 588387

And it got the point i needed better dd tires and changed to the whole look of my jeep.

Attachment 588388

I sold the ats and put on 37" cooper stts.

Attachment 588389

And now she sits like this.
