Default $$$ of 08 Unlimited

... that you guys would expect to pay if you knew the owner of the dealership. I have been searching for an Unlimited 4 door off the lot and couldnt find what I was looking for. I just ordered one from a dealer I know, good friends of my wife's family. We have not discussed price but I expect he will give me a good deal. If you guys were buying in this situation and the msrp is 27,500 what would you expect to get OTD for?

I'd expect between 25k and 26k, that hovers right around the invoice price. If he gives you the Friends and Family discount, you should be right at $25k, if my math is right. Good Luck!

If he has any Friends and Family Plan vouchers available to apply to your purchase, he can sell it to you for 1% below invoice plus Taxes, Title and License. Go to Edmunds.com, build a JK to the specs you've ordered, and that will give you an approximate Invoice, subtract 1% from that and add in your State #'s, subtract any trade-in allowance, and subtract your down payment to calculate your approximate OTD price.

If he doesn't have any FFP vouchers left, he should still be able to sell it to you at/near Invoice + TTL - Trade/DP.

If you've ordered a vehicle from him, friend or not, you should already have a written Buyer's Order sales agreement that clearly states the selling price, as well as a printed Order Sheet that shows your vehicle order with VON #. In fact, the bottom of that Order Sheet will state what the Dealer's Invoice is as well as FFP and EP (Employee Plan) prices.

I work for Ingersoll Rand and they have an affiliates rewards program with DC. I'm supposed to get 1% below invoice. I ordered an 08 4dr unlimited X and the msrp of my order totalled $26,780. The FFP price is $25,352 (stated on the order itself). Hardly a sweet deal but since nobody is dealing on 4 doors, that's the best you're gonna do unless you want to wait for the demand to cool a little. I imagine dealers are a little flexible on 2 drs but that's just a theory.

I had a friend get me invoice for my '08 4-door wrangler x. Ask to see the invoice. Typically, I believe its 1200 to 1500 below the MSRP for jeeps.

I just ordered from the owner of the dealership (family friend) and got 26,000 on a 27,800 wrangler. Right at invoice. That seems to be the best of deals right now.
