$58k JKU Sport
Definitely not worth an extra 24k. If it is actually re-geared I applaud them for that. Most dealers I see jack these jeeps up, slap bigger tires on them still with the flimsy plastic bumpers and charge an extra 15k ontop of the sticker price. Sad thing is people buying them don't know the difference cause they're going for the look. This one is not that bad, a pretty solid rig right off the lot.
We have them here too. A local dealer has a pair of JKU Sport with nice wheels and tires, 35s I think, the markup for the add ons was $16,000
on top of the $34,000 for the JKU Sport.
I had some time to inspect the Jeeps while waiting for my sales guy and here is what I came up with:
Rough Country 3.25" coil lift.
35" ProComp MT tires on Fuel Trophy wheels (5)
Rampage front bumper (with a Warn sticker)
Warn/Mopar winch, steel cable.
Rampage rear bumper, spare mounted on the tailgate.
LED cube lights on the windshield (not sure what brand)
At first, the Jeeps looked good. But as I looked closer I noticed a few things that didn't seem right. The front track bar was stock, non adjustable. The rear breather lines were popped off the differential, clearly they were not extended to accommodate the lift. I actually had to go online to see what model Warn bumper that was, when I realized it wasn't a Warn I searched deeper and found it was a Rampage bumper with a Warn sticker. In their defense the winch was a Mopar branded Warn Winch.
