I wonder how many people fall for this?

Who still falls for this stuff? Yeah - a stupid resistor is going to make your vehicle a dragstrip king... and why exactly is it that the manufacturers don't just spend the extra $0.10 (their cost) to add instant HP and torque gains to the engine?
Actually it costs much less than $.10. The resistor is actually fractions of a penny when bought in bulk. Had a friend who was, and still is making over $100,000 a year selling this crap. It is a total load, but hey what's not these days.
My uncle bought these for his wife's van and his envoy.... he paid like 30 for both...it was supposed to add 20 hp and give him 2-4 more mpg... All it did was make his check engine lights go on and eventually make his envoy not wanna start. He had to take it off and let the battery reset over night. He still swears he must have just installed it wrong..
He'll never admit he got burnt
