% Chance of rain for the top to be up?
Okay - I have been running as much as possibly this spring with the top down. Some T storms are in the forecast for this week, but at a slight percentage.
What forecast makes you put the top up in advance? How much rain on the inside is too much rain? It's a Jeep, so I don't mind the wind and the water, but it's also my daily driver so I can't just leave it in the garage if the forecast gets bad.

I'm the same way, i try to run the top down as much as possible when the temp is right. i have a trail top and use it when it's outside at work when there is any chance of rain plus it helps protect the interior from sun damage.
I usually chance it below 30%. But I have the option to leave it in the garage if needed, so it's been stripped for a while.
X2 on listening to the weatherman...I usually go by weather dot com but have been stormed on when the forecast was 0% chance.

I'm with you Clay, 30% or more and it goes back up.
I've been risking it this week with 30-40% chance of storms, I pretty much check the hour by hour forecast and put it up at work if I need to, just without the back windows. It just feels wrong to run with it buttoned up when it is 75-80 degrees out.

I use the same percentage as I did when I rode my bike. (see the thread on motorcycles and wranglers for more info). For the bike it was 30% I wouldn't even bother with the rain gear. 40% I would take the rain gear with me. Anything past that I would have to really want to ride. I've been in a few bad storms because of this but it was supposed to be nice after the storm.
Same percentages for the jeep. 30% I won't bother with worrying. Of it does rain it won't be enough to do harm to the seats. I keep a sham wow on them just in case. 40% I will have the doors back on it and be ready to throw the top on of it looks like rain. I won't put the windows in yet. Anything after that the top is on and windows in. One thing I need to get is a Bestop trail cover.
If your worried about stuff getting wet. Pull the carpet and drain plugs, grab a few towels or cheap ponchos and cover the seats. You'll be fine.
