I’ve been thinking of swapping the interior of my 08 Sahara JKU by pulling the dash and interior from a newer JKU, thinking a 2013 and up. Has anyone ever done this? I’m starting to hate the outdated interior but really don’t want to buy a new Jeep just for the interior... specially since I built mine and love it. Please let me know if you’ve done this or tried this!

 

It is probably easier to put sunglasses on while you drive? Do you have a donor Jeep to provide the new parts?

 

I know there are a few threads out there of people doing this as I recall going through them. Google around a bit and you should find a few threads full of pictures. I'm not a fan of the search on the site myself. I typically get much better results using a google search that would be similar to "jk-forum interior swap".

 

The real question is are you still running the stock 2008 driver and passenger seats? If you are not running aftermarket seats, yet I highly recommend you swap them out first as an interior upgrade.
