1/4 mile time for JK
I was wondering if anyone has timed the JK in the 1/4 mile after the engine has been broken in. I have heard that it times in the 7 second range........maybe that's before the brake in. For some reason mine jumps off the start and seems to be doing a 1/4 mile a lot faster. Maybe the JK should be timed after the brake in to get an accurate reading.

(I'm sure you meant 17seconds though.. which sounds about right, but it all depends on the gear ratio you have to though).

7 seconds?
sadly, when i was a younger (and less wiser man), i have a tricked out honda civic rice burner. after i did a full integra vtec engine swap, cold air induction, full header/exhuast upgrade, new cam gear, chip, and 200 shot nitrous...
i was running mid 11's.
there's no way my jk could beat the civic i had. i think 17 or even 27 is closer to the truth. if you know how to increase hp to get below 10 seconds in 1/4, let me know cause i want it!
