I think the front freedom panels work better than a bikini top. I think they block a little more heat tranfer. 100 here on Sat.

Its not too bad today... unless you have long shirts/pants for work clothes or spend a ton of time in traffic

I found that my near ideal solution for hot weather is Soft top without windows or doors works well.

Once the sun goes down, you can drop the soft top completely, or open the sunrider.

90 degrees in GA is equivalent to 125 anywhere else. So the most i do in those temps is doors off and top up...

unless there is a lot of highway driving... then the top goes down

Some yes some no. I'm usually the only crazy one with both my hardtop and doors off when we go wheeling. Check the pics in trails & tales section.

A agree you need a hat and possibly some sleeves for a long ride. Sunblock is a plus also.
Yeh it's hot but when you live in AZ you expect hot summers. There are lots of jeeps w/o tops or doors running around in the 115 heat. I think it feels great when your moving. But then agian i like a sauna also.

as long as I've got some sunscreen and my floppy boonie hat it can't be too hot.

Need advice! Do mesh or bikini's make any difference?

Thanks!
It was 115 yesterday and we are just starting our summer, we get into the mid 120's for a while and its really not bad. But hey it cools down to 110 at around midnight so its nice and its a dry heat......

with the top and doors off you acclimate to it.

I'm in Tulsa, haven't had the top or doors on since Memorial day weekend, and then only had them on for a weekend trip. (Since April 1st this year, have only had doors/top on 3 days)

Now with the heat, I run with the front freedom panels of the hard top on and I went to home depot and made a shorter "bikini" top for the back seats out of the sun shade material. This helps alot. It gets hot, i turn on the A/C at stop lights and cool off a bit. I did a 30 minute drive across town today and then back at 1pm, barely sweating afterwards (in pants and knit shirt for work).

I cannot resist going topless, but on some of the longer drives the hot Georgia sun just gets too unbearable. I put the top up like a safari top at those times or when my daughter is riding along. In safari mode all of the windows are off and the doors are off. I keep the doors off as much as possible now.
