Default 12" Evolution Coilover system or Teraflex 6" long arms kit?

It's kind of difficult to make the decision for me right now; currently, I am running the Teraflex 4" short arms kit with a set KING 2.5" shocks. In fact, the road handle ability is great, but I need a little more suspension travel for my 37" tires, however, 4" Teraflex is fine but a little longer travel will be great. Therefore, I started looking at Evo's coilover system(front only); with the Evo's setup, I think I will keep the current Teraflex arms, and move the front pair KING shocks to the rear(a total of 4 shocks). For this plan, I think the budget will be around 2500 bucks.
I have an another plan which is the 6" long arms kit from Teraflex, however, the kit contains every part that is needed, including the HD drag link, but the cost will be increased to around 3500 bucks.
Which one is better for road handle ability and rock crawling, in fact, my JK(2dr) is a daily driving jeep for me.

Why not both? You are probably going to want long arms with coilovers anyway.

Yeah, that is what I am talking about! But, with my limited budget, I can only do that step by step.

If it were me I would do Coil Overs first since you already have short arms. When you get the extra cash you could then upgrade to long arms.

My planned route is upgrade my current setup to the ORE long arms and Kings 2.5 shocks. Then go with the coilovers if I ever save up the coin.

You can't go wrong with either route. Although I would never go with a 6" lift on my jeep. I wanna keep it low and balanced. Good luck with what ever you do!

That is a great way to do, but with my current short arms, I can only installed the 12" coilover system; as the matter of fact, my current KING front shocks' extended length are like 76cm, and the 12" coilover shocks are like 80cm when extended. Only 4cm longer front travel costs 2500 bucks, I don't think that worth the money. However, 14" coilover shocks will be perfect, but I need to upgrade to long arms at first place.

We are running the 12" ORE Valved Coil Overs on the front with the 2.5 ORE Valved Kings out back on short arms and the improvement is very noticeable both off as well as on road! It's amazing how nice the ride is now on our pot hole route to work. I know WOL ran for a long time with the short arms and coil overs frt & rear.

I would say that the best setup is the long arm and coil overs frt & rear, but, for budget constraints we went with the coil overs in front first and I have no regrets over the decision. A buddy of mine did the exact same setup as our and within a couple months added the LCA and it was better, then we rode in another friends front and rear coil over setup with LCA and that's the best. So for me I'd have to say do the coil overs then the LCA but that's just my and I'm bias!

Thanks for the reply! A total of 6" lift height with long arms setup and a 14" front coilover system will be the perfect upgrade for my jeep. If do both of them at same time, the total budget will increased to 5000+ bucks, so that is too much for me right now. On the other hand, if I just purchase a Teraflex 6" long arms kit first, I can still use my current KING shocks for a while. When I have enough money to make the next jump with the coilover front; the only thing I need to do is take off the front coils and leave the rest Teraflex parts alone, is this correct?

Thanks for the picture! What is the extended length of the ORE's front 12" coilover shocks? My KING 2.5" shocks have the extended length like 76cm, if the 12" coilover shocks provide with 8cm+ longer travel, than I think I will do the 12" coilover front with my current Teraflex short arms, and then I will move the current front KING shocks to the rear, so that a total of 4 KING shocks will be appear together.
