Hey bud,

You should really do some more research before you "pull the trigger". 35's are about as big as you want to go unless your willing to beef up your axles. You can do this but know that everything will wear out really fast. If you leave the factory gears you will more than likely chew them up (search the forum for guys who've done this).

With bigger tires you have more static weight that needs to be moved by the tranny. being under geared is going to work your engine over and build up a lot of heat in the tranny too. So you could possible blow out a gear in the tranny in addition to chewing up the diff. There wont be anyone on this forum that would say not to regear if your rockin 37's. even at that you will wear out your ball joints in no time.

You should ask around the forum more before you do this. find out what people have had issues with and make a smart decision. Repairs can get expensive quick.

Its not cheap to regear. Thats one thing that i'm not looking forward to. I'm almost thinking of running 35's and while i wear them out, build a front and rear axle as a project to support bigger tires.

Best of luck on the setup!!!

I don't know about the 4.10s but I'm running with 5.38s and 37s on 2010 rubicon as a DD and it drives great. Plenty of power. Fwiw, I think I avg. around 11ish mpg. Forgot to mention its a 6spd manual.
