Default 2 Door passenger seat flip

I tried to do a search but couldn't really find anything that matched my problem.. I have a 2009 2 Door JK that just turned a year old. About a month ago the seat stopped flipping forward and sliding ahead using the single lever. The dealer fixed it under warranty and then after 3 weeks it broke again. Another trip to the dealer and they say they can't fix it but will order a complet new seat frame, I was busy today so my wife took it in and did not check before leaving. Well tonight we try and pile in to go for a ride and it hasn't even been fixed, looks like it wasn't even touched. Well now it's strike three and I'm a little PO'd and at this point I don't even want to take it back to the dealer. Does anybody here no how I can fix this myself. You can still use the lever to flip the seat but then have to reach under and use the other lever to slide it ahead and when your hands are full the 1 step lever is so much more handy.. on a side note I had a 2001 TJ before this and absolutely loved it and I have to say the design of this newer seat is just terrible, the engineer should be flogged.

X2 Who would put something like that in a two door. Getting to the back seat is a PITA!

I still prefer my old CJ's seats for rear access.

I actually thought my JK was the only with this issue.. My passenger seat does move forward, but it almost has to be pulled at the same time.. Not really sure if thats the way its supposed to be or not, I am guessing no

Getting access to the back seat a Pain in the Ars? You have no idea...Imagine a 250lb / 6' guy trying to get his daughter out of the car seat back there in mid 90 wheather

Not a Pretty Site
