Default 2 Weeks and dead!

Hey guys, this is my first post.

I had bought my JKU back in September of 09 and only had it two weeks when I took it on a business trip from New Orleans to Charleston. About half way there, the oil pump crapped out on me and seized the engine up. Stranded on the side of the interstate two weeks after buying a brand new Jeep is not where I thought I would be. It cost me over $1000 to rent a car and finish my business trip. It took Chrysler a few weeks to replace the engine and parts but fortunately I was out of the country on another business trip so I didn't need it immediately. However, it did take Chrysler several months to reimburse me for my expenses (rental car and cab ride). JKU runs like a champ now and now have become addicted to modding it and making it my own. I guess I'll post some pics soon to the Surf Blue thread.

Great story on how Chrysler took care of a buyer. Just like they do 98% of the time. Thanks for posting it up and welcome to the group.

exactly...its a bummer that you lost an engine, but I think I would just be happy that I got reimbursed for my expenses...
