I got my 4 door Sahara in October 2006 - now have 48,000 miles on it. So far no problems except TSB's. Give me your mileage - date of purchase - and what problems you have had that weren't caused by Mod's.I installed the 2"FT BB lift and am running 305 65 18 BFG All terrain KO's ( about 34" tires) - Home made CAI -Grille Mod -Traded side steps for OEM Rock Rails (thanks to a member)- Installed OEM drivers side mirror relocation bracket(which comes with a mirror) on drivers side. (They don't make a passenger side on - even for the European market.) Trying to design my own Snorkel and am working on bumpers.

 

bought mine in nov of 06 tsbs and now have the u joint problem in the front and loser rear fender mileage id 193??

 

12,150 Miles, Baught July 2007, Brake TSB, breaking that dammed Evap cannister, broke a front stub shaft doing something i should NOT have, Keep taking off fender flares on trees, easily dented bumpers. Clutch holding fine, only stalls when i try to hard, I put super in it when off road that helps.

 

Got mine 09/26/06 have 36,ooo no problems at all except TSB

stone chip on edge of front windshield
broken tooth on flywheel
readjust tailgate door so it is flush
cross over exhaust pipe crushed as it is unprotected jeep skimped on this as automatics have this piece

 

I've got 9106 miles. The only problems I've had that needed replacement were the electronic swaybar dis-connect and the headlight stalk.

 

07 purchased 07/26/07.

- clutch squeak [they're looking into it ]
- freedumb top leaks [not fixed 4 attempts]
- passenger and driver door leaks [not fixed 3 attempts]
- missing bolts in windshield from factory [fixed]
- missing trim fasteners for both footwell pieces next to door [half ordered and installed]
- softop split apart [new top not installed yet due to hardtop issues]
- rear window clips don't work [haven't taken back for tsb]
- rattle in door jamb from latch assembly, driver side [not fixed]
- random engine shut offs followed by smoke from engine compartment [who knows if it's fixed]
- severe shimmy/wandering in front end. checked alignment, tire balance, control arms, etc. [not fixed 3 trips]
- wind noise/water from header seal [replaced 3 times]
- elec. disconnect stopped working [fixed]
- radio comes on sometimes when you hit the unlock button on the fob [they're looking into it. actually happened when they witnessed it]


probably more. It looks like I got a lemon. I'm at the extent of my patience. They have ordered me a new freedumb top and if it still leaks I am going through with the lemon law. Dealer has stated they know there is a big problem but they have tried all they know. This is my fourth Jeep Wrangler so I am not expecting mall crawler quality.

 

Purchased August of 07' and has just over 5,000 miles.
It's been in for the brake re-call.
It makes a nasty noise when starting in the cold, but the dealer can't track it down. Other than that... no issues. (knock on wood.)

 

bought Nov07 have 22K only TSB fixes, but the rear locker isnt working, so i gotta get it taken in for that

 

July 2007 Brought her home, had the TSB brake recall done and otherwise no problems, although i had one glitched where the thing beeped while driving and the lights and stereo shut off and then every light lit up and it scared me, only happened once
