Default 2007 vs. 2008

Does anyone know where I can find out the differences between the 2007 and 2008 model Wrangler Unlimiteds? I've heard about pull straps for the seats and integrating the remote start into the key fob, but that's all.

Thanks!

The 08's are perfect. All the bugs are worked out, and they have 2x the hp with better fuel efficiency. The paint on the hinges won't even chip. LOL

Hardy Har har. Good one. Dealer said they are supposed to have fixed the leaking Freedom tops. We shall see, we shall see.

I noticed a couple things on here.

1. 4.10 ratio is only available on Rubicon
2. MyGIG now has Uconnect included (I know a lot of you were trying to figure out how to add this)
3. Cosmetic changes to Sahara (silver crap)
4. Color & Trim does nto match Trim Combinations (Color & Trim has Inferno Red Crystal Pearl, while Trim Combo has the Jeep Green) guessing this is an error, but you never know.

I drove a few 07s, and finally got my 08 the other day. Some things I noticed...

1. Yes, the remote start is one fob/key. Very nice.

2. Silver applications to the front bumper, rear bumper, steering spindles, and air vents in dash.

3. The interior door handle locks are shaped different. Hard to explain, but not a big deal.

4. 3.73 gears standard (I've gone 80mph + on hwy-very smooth), 4.10 on Ruby

5. Back seats lost the plastic tab on top, replaced with pulls (like you mentioned)

6. On Sahara, I know the 18's are standard now, and tires are now Bridgestone Duellers rather than Goodyear Wranglers.

7. My 08 hood is DAMN tight. It never wiggles while passing other rigs. (not confirmed)

8. Hard top- No rain yet, I will update.

Thats all I remember, but there may be more.
