Default 2008 Wrangler X windshield

I just got a 2008 X 4 door and the windshield seems to be making a wind noise in the upper driver side. They have attempted to fix it but the dealer is not having any luck. I even test drove another 2008 and it had the same problem it seems. Is there anyone out there the is experiencing the same issue that I am having?

It's probably the seal point where the door, roof and windshield frame come together. Mine does the same thing, and also allows a little water to get in as well.

TSB for 07s... but when i took my 08 in for a problem with the rear window, they checked the top of the windshield frame and told me they were still getting complaints. my windshield was fine though.

Default wind noise

I had a similar problem on my tj (as I don't have my jk yet) I put some of that foam strip that is used on campers on the inside of the top, and that solve the problem. it worked on either top. I don't know if you can do this with the jk.

Im glad to hear that I am not the only one yet who is having this problem. I just hope that it does not cause any other issues in the futur. I did send an email to Chrysler about it and ill let you all know what happens after i get a response.

Yep, I have it too on my unlimited softop. No water leakage though. I do not think air is getting through but that it is a wind drag point and causes noise. Not very loud and much quieter than previous jeep softop's!
