JKU Rubicon .... I'm scared too.... Chrysler doesn't have the best of track records in terms of interior styling and materials.... I also don't understand the need to change something that works.... Hmmmm ... I wait & pray for the best.
Chrysler promised shots of the new interior by "early July" ....maybe they needed to define "early"

I was at the dealer on thursday 7/8/10 and I asked about the new 2011 changes, the dealer told me "you can order one right now" I replied...How can I order on with out knowing the options that are available....and Id like to see the difference in the interior. He stated he could get the pics from the factory web site..... I think he is full of BS and I dident want to wait around.....
but if your more anxious than I it may be worth a shot...call the dealers bluff....
I threw out some of the confirmed changes and some of the possable changes for the next year 2012 motors and such...dealer had no idea what I was talking about!!!!!
Dealer ships are useless

I suspect many of the changes will be related to the center stack... if you look at the PT cruiser and then look at the JK.. there are many similarities...
currently the PT and the JK share the same basic layout on the center stack..
the HVAC controls, the power window switches, even the switch bar are pretty much the same...
the steering column as well as the steering wheel also share the similarity to the PT...
since the PT is done (2010 last year).. im guessing they dont want to use parts made for just one vehicle, the JK...
they will probably go to the steering wheel similar to whats on the charger / grand cherokee..
im also thinking we will probably see the electrically driven climate control system used as opposed to the cable driven as well.. which the base model of that looks similar to the new dodge ram.. and that same system can support dual zone electronic with a different control head....
id also venture to guess the vents may end up being square and end up on top of the radio as opposed to below....
just my total guesses.. but for the wrangler to stay profitable things like interior parts need to be used across more than just one model on chrysler's lineup...
