2011 buyback program!
It would be so cool if jeep created a 2011 buyback program. I feel kinda jipped that In my 11 I only got half the upgrade while the 12 got the other half as well.

Your fault. Lots of people waited for '12's on the hope/thought that the pentastar would be in there. You felt the '11 Jeep was a good value and worth the price you paid for it. That hasn't changed. Jeep owes you nothing.

Feel no need to trade in or get any money back from.Chrysler. if the hemi ever comes as an option then I may trade...otherwise I will run this one till the doors fall off...or I can't get them back on!
Whether you buy Jeeps, Computers, Cars, etc, every generation gets better and faster. How many people bought an iPad a month before the iPad 2 came out which was faster and the same price. Unfortunately, there will always be a newer model.
Personally my 2011 I bought in September suits my needs just fine. I have a "light" (in comparison) Sport 2-door which has a curb weight of about 3700 lbs. The old 3.8 moves it around just fine and still gets around 18 MPG with 33" tires. If I had the much heavier Unlimited, I think the '12 would have been a better choice. The Pentastar wasn't the torque monster we needed for a Jeep, I test drove several 2012 configurations before deciding on a 2011. There was a difference, but I wanted a Jeep without waiting, equipped the way I wanted.
If there is a major model change in 2013-14, I will probably be lured out of my 2011. But it would have to be something vastly different, Hemi or Diesel Wrangler. If not I will just stay in the slow lane with my 2011 with the minivan engine.
