Default 2011 first impression

Just a few first impressions on the drive home from the dealer with the new Rubi.

1. Dash is higher-I like the top storage compartment-they did fix the void between dash and windshield

2. Center console and arm rests are great

3. Quieter interior-better quality interior

4. New auto shifter feels flimsy-has some goofy over ride slot if it won't shift-no button to push-just pull into gear

5. Rear window seems huge-at least for now with standard size spare

6. New steering wheel is going to take some getting used to.

7. Front freedom top panels are different shape

8. Rear view mirror flip still works

Congrats on your new Jeep! I'd be interested in any more info you have about the new steering wheel.

I must admit that i have not liked it in pictures.

I just picked mine up today so I'll add my first impressions as well.

1. What the heck is ECO mode ? it pops up on the dash when I'm on the Hwy.

2. Sure seems hard to keep it under 80mph on the Hwy. That seems like the sweet spot.

3. The ability to see out the back is much improved over my brothers JK.

4. My average MPG is 19 in my first 100 miles.

5. Fold and tumble on the right side IS BACK !

Default Congrats on the new Rubi

Congrats and thanks for the info... I'm boarderline w/ the new interior (sometimes I like it, other times I don't- depends on pic).

Is it just me or do the center vents remind you of a pair of jugs?

Hmmm... Maybe I do like it

Default 2011 passenger seat

it is amazing to me we can ask anything on this forum and get a good answer except does the front passenger seat fold and tumble? one owner says yes one says no. i did not think it was a complex question but for whatever reason it is. i will go to the dealer and look myself and report back the fact.
