I read that same article and it's a little confusing, but what I 'think' it's saying is that these new changes will be coming out in late 2010, which really means the 2011 model year. JMHO

Far as I can tell the new Pentastar won't be in the Jeep until 2012, and the diesel won't be in the US for the foreseeable future. There are supposed to be some interior and exterior changes in the 2011 model, and if history is any indicator we'll know about them in May or early June. Probably worth waiting until at least then.

I'm bummed out that they still are not considering a truck version on the JK platform. If I was in charge of jeep, I would make a production JK Lower Forty Gladiator with choice of a hemi or a diesel, D60's front and rear, 241 t-case with a price tag not to exceed 33k. I think it would be a huge seller.

Default 2011 Jeep Wrangler info sheet from my local dealer...

I received this info sheet recently from my local dealer. I'm planning on purchasing a 2011 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I was hoping that they would be putting in the Pentastar engine - but it doesn't look like it.
