Anyone know when the first ones are set to be delivered. I know we were hearing that "official" pictures were set to come early July and delivery the first weeek of august. The "official" pics never came and now we are passed the 1st week of august... Guess there are a ton of unsold 2010 and dealers are crying to corporate! Thanks Chrysler!

 

I was told by a dealer that the 2011 went into production in toledo on aug 1 officially.. however he said he was only allowed to order in 4 base model unlimited sports for the initial allocation...

they also said that there was no delivery date given.. typically being in columbus ohio area we get the new Jeeps pretty close to first in the country when they go out...

my guess is you are right they are going to hold them up until some 2010's are sold..

I just sold my '09 and I was looking for a '10 Rubicon, no Sticks out there. So I wanted to order an '11. No such luck yet. They can enter the info into the computer but there are no prices or anything. At least as of Aug. 7th 2010.

The only had like five colors available on the Rubicon. I remember that Mango and White where there and I seem to think that black was not. I am assuming they still have some updating to do.

 

US dealers have been able to order 2011 JKs since June 14 ( I ordered mine on June 15). You are right that pricing is still not in the system, but no one expects any significant changes - probably only small inflation creep.

Last update from my dealer a couple of weeks ago was that mine had a firm schedule and a ship date slated for August 19th.

 

Ok, so I ordered my 2011 Black stick Rubicon with lots of extras. You guys are right, there still is no solid price, but nothing drastic is expected. My dealer calls me every Tuesday to update me on the status. So far, I have a D code status (not sure what that means) and a 0 priority, which he tells me that means I am high on the priority list as I have already put a deposit down. 19 August is super exciting, but I am ready to wait until late Sep / early Oct. This is driving me a bit crazy as I am now scouring the web for any information. I hear the Toledo plant went idle due to Hurricane Alex doing some damage down in Mexico. Looks like the area hit was providing us with a good amount of parts. If you all hear anything, please post back here as I will be watching this thread daily. Thanks!!

Update from my dealer this weekend on the Rubi I ordered in June: Jeep is built and in "final inspection" - he expects to see it at the dealership this week (we're only about 3-hrs from Toledo).

Maybe they're holding mine for Biden and Marchionne to "inspect" on Monday. It would make a good photo-op - Mango Tango 4-dr Rubi with the new Black/Dark Saddle leather interior.

 

Dude, you need to post pics. I know what the propoganda photos show us, but I want to see a user set of the interior. Congrats bro!

 

Did you get your Jeep??

 

Agonizing here. Status shows "Shipped to Storage" on Wednesday this week. Dealer is working with their Jeep district rep to get it and three others they have built on the road. They know they can get another sale done before end-of-month if they can get it here - so I'm sure they're pushing. We're only ~3.5-hrs from Toledo, so it could show up at any time.

It's getting expensive waiting - already have Huskyliners and a Bengals hitch receiver bottle opener, Hothead headliners shipped yesterday, and LOD mid-width front bumper with custom mods paid for and being built.

I'll update with photos when it gets here.
