December 23rd.
End of the year quotas + end of the month quotas + my sexy smile and winning charm + my 2008 with a lifetime warranty and engine problems + my affiliation and influence with the local Jeep club = 18.9%
Yes, I traded in my 2008, no they didn't offset with the trade in price. I paid 27,500 3 years ago for the 2008 and they gave me 26,000 in trade allowance... with the engine problems I had.

2011 Rubicon 2-dr.
12% off MSRP
I think I got a pretty good deal, considering I bought it in So-Cal and it was the only 2-dr. Rubicon the dealer had. I wasn't going to get a loaded Rubi at first, but I found a deal on this one, so I ended up with leather, navigation, and more. I did find a leftover '10 model for a much bigger discount, but I really wanted the new interior and other improvements that the '11 model has, because the '10 models looked just like the '07 I had.

Live and bought JK in Canada
MRSP + taxes all in - $38,000.00
After rebates, discounts trade in etc... $28,700.00 taxes in out the door is what I got it for.
This is for a 2011 Sahara, auto, tow package, both tops.
I added on extended warranty, financed it and with all the extra little fee's I ended up paying more. But $28,700 was the final price on my Jeep.

American Express Zag Hard to Beat
I don't usually screw around with dealers, I order my vehicles through Costco, American Express Zag or my corporate plans. Plus the ZAG price actually gets you over 50% off of extended warranties and discounts on all adds.
I'll show you one I made in 5 seconds, and I can walk into any dealer around here and sign paper work at this price without saying 5 words to them.
Sometimes a dealer can get me a few bucks off, but its not worth my time. If you have an american express try Zag first.
Also try different Zip codes you are willing to drive to, because every dealer signs separate agreements with Zag. I usually pic 3-5 destinations I would drive to and check to see if they are in the top 10% cheapest sold across the country... then I do my business. MSRP Fluctuates throughout the year, so you may get a vehicle cheaper in the first month or 2 vs the next year... but that depends. Thats why when you price out an MSRP online it may be listed differently on a a dealers sticker because that specific vehicle was produced at a different MSRP.

You can do it either way, if they have the car in inventory you can buy it right away. Or you can choose to order it using the dealer allocation the way you have it configured, I've done it both ways. If you don't want to wait for a car to be built, you can just configure it on Zag to one you have seen in their inventory. Dealers don't make direct commission off of Zag, they make a bonus based on meeting a quota (number of sold) and upselling things once you come in to get your car.
