2012
Should I do a trade in on a 2012 crush? The dealership says they don't care if I return my 09 back to stock, that way I could transfer my lift tires and other goodies over. I should be able to keep the same payment, but Ill prob be adding 3 years to my current pay off time. You guys think the 80 more hp and better mpg is worth it? I know its a jeep and with my mods they wont help mpgs be stellar but still it would be better than my 09. Help push me either towards or away from pulling the trigger.
I was at the Jeep dealer today getting warrenty work done on my radio. I have a 2011 and was looking at the 2012's and the same thing was crossing my mind. I'm probably gonna pass on the 2012's for now. If I had an 2009 I might be a little more inclined to trade up. Good luck with your decision.
I traded my 2010 in and got the 2012. got a great deal on trade and new one. I for 1 am glad i did it. I have 4" lift and 35's I am getting around 15 in city and 19 on the highway. upgraded interior and the engine is what swung it for me.
Have driven the 12 cause my wife has one and the horse power is noticeably better. However, I really love my 10 and am willing to see what happens in the next couple of years before I pull the trigger on a new. To say the least, it is really nice but not nice enough for me to wonder what the changes will be in another 3 yrs.
The 2012 is what my 08 should have been.... I can pass someone on the freeway without waiting for a a downhill... not sure on gas mileage yet...Stock 3.73 auto...mostly stop and go... 15.2 so far but just about 600 miles on it. Most of my mods just transfered over. I smile every time I drive it
What worked for me was to take my "Best Deal" to another dealer via Email, did all but the final signing online.
The trade in on my 08 was great then used their dime again with zero % For the new one... I could have passed it up...... But why......Its a good time to be a JK owner lookin for a tradein

Thanks for the input. I will probably hold out a little longer. I really do want the power and mpgs the new drive train will offer but I will be looking for a house in the next upcoming year or so and it will probably look better on my credit to have my current jeep almost paid off instead of just starting payments on something brand new. Who knows maybe a couple years from now they will be droppin hemis in at the factory hahaha.
