I agree. My advisor said same thing. To just put more miles on until u either feel loss in power. It acts funny. Gets louder or light comes on.
I am cool with it since I know it will be covered and also in no hurry to have my baby taken apart either!

Well I got my JK back yesterday and its running great! The noise I heard under the hood is gone, idle is nice and steady, and Id like to believe my power is back(thats a little subjective anyway usually lol). The dealer in Cerritos treated me really well.
Now to figure out my suspension issue lol.

I just don't understand the head issue. Why would only the driver side's head be faulty? Wouldn't both heads have the same defect if it is not a design issue but is a manufacturing issue? It seems like if you replace one side's head - the other side should automatically be replaced too. The engine is symmetrical - right? One side will have a different head design than the other? If the driver side's head is "revised", is the passenger side's head revised now too? And if it is, both side's should be replaced and if it isn't really "revised", than this was just a few poorly manufactured driver's side heads and there has been no re-design...only a change in the manufacturing location or process.

recently i hit 5000 miles and i have had a ticking sound going for a while so i decided to bring my jeep to the dealer and they had to replace my lifters, heads, cylinders, and a few other little things my whole right side of my engine is new it was in the shop for a month. after it was all said and done i have only had it back for about a month now im hearing different sounds like i have a leak somewhere and a small rattleing sound and it hasnt been driving the same as it was with the ticking

yeah - I'm afraid the dealer will end up doing more damage than good to the engine.

How does one replace cylinders? Are you saying you got a new block? Pistons?
