Dealer sent me an unsolicited text today telling me the Jeep should be in by the end of the month. Sounds about right. Hopefully I'll find out a more detailed date tomorrow.

Bad news today. decided to call jeep customer service yesterday and get an update on my jku status. Great guy named mark helped me out w dates on shipping and delivery. so i asked if i could get window sticker information as i had a strange hunch that the 3.73 gears i ordered might not have made the list. when i check vots it lists the ordered options. everything but 3.73s showed up. never really thought about it alot as i had the order sheet from my dealer which listed 3.73s. Mark gave me a link to jeep cares. U can email them for the window sticker or the build sheet. i requested the build sheet. Got the email today and guess what. no 3.73s it stated 3.21s. so i called my salesman and he tried to reasure me it was ok but i knew it wasnt. after some discussion they realized there was a mistake. tried to tell me that u had to get the max tow package to get 3.73s but u dont. so after convincing them the 3.73s are a 50 dollar option they immediately offered to do a reorder and rush it through. so as of right now they have reordered it and will get the low down on everything tomorrow. Too anyone ordering certain options make sure u question everything during the process and keep updated regularly. Had i not found this today it may have been to late to order a 2012. So now the wait starts again. I guess it could be worse just glad to be getting a new jku

Just got of the phone with customer service....est. day for arrival 5/9.....less then a week away!

My salesman called and told me my JKUR should be here today or tomorrow. I ordered it on March 24th.

03/08/2012: Order actully entered into the system.
03/12/2012: Received first e-mail and D status.
03/27/2012: Received second e-mail and D1 status.
04/11/2012: Received third e-mail and assembly complete.
04/11/2012: Loaded On Railcar @ Toledo Supplier Park, OH
04/12/2012: Interchange Received On Railcar - Armourdale, KS
04/20/2012: Railcar Placed at Destination Facility - Mira Loma, CA
04/21/2012: Unloaded From Railcar - Mira Loma, CA (Only 30 miles from my house!)
04/27/2012: Delivered to Dealer, Jack Powell Chrysler Jeep Dodge Escondido, CA
04/28/2012: Picked up from dealer..

VOTS is completely useless.. Don't even bother.
And when you call 1-800-IAMJEPP you get different answers depending on which person you talk to. Lightning Guy (user on this forum) actually provided the most accurate information.

LOL... I waited a month before ordering stuff for the new JKU... and my parts are showing up before the Jeep gets here.

Torture continues LOL...

I'm waiting a couple months before I do any real mods... so far I've just recieved the 4 door island top from Rugged Ridge and a few other small personalization items.

Lift may have to wait until next march but its a RUBI already so I'm not in as big a hurry to change out the tires as they are at least respectable if not what I ultimately want.
