Default 2012 Jeep Project

Hey everyone, I got a 2012 wrangler sport 6 speed about a month ago and am wondering what I should do to it. I'm thinking a lift kit but Chrysler will only allow a 2 inch lift. I'm curious to know what the best kit would be to get and what would e the best tires to throw on there as well! I'm wanting to keep the original wheels (aluminum 17in) because I do like them a lot. Only thing is I want to paint them black. Any help will be appreciated!

Bedline the wheels. If you search on here there are countless threads on how to do that. As for lifts go, most dealers will do their best to screw you when it comes to lifting and mods, so if you get something in writing, good for you and maybe stick with a leveling kit. If you're like most of us you will eventually move up anyway and end up voiding at least the suspension related parts under warrenty.

Yea and the GM at the dealership is telling me they have to do it there. I'm thinking I may just wait until the warranty goes out anyway to do it, or go to a place that specializes in doing off road mods. It's really one of those up in the air things right now until I save up.

If you truly are going for looks have at it for the lifts and so on. Personally id say make your engine breathe better ....exhaust, intakes, or new headers. These engines stock are wack.

I've been looking all around and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best air intake to put on my JK, also a new exhaust system as well.
