hmm.. prob run the tires I have now but with maybe 3 spares.... 1 on the rear 2 on the roof. armor ORE fenders/armor, Riv. Raid skids, replace all rear windows with steel, replace windshield front side windows with lexan, need a full width big a$@ bumper prob the ugly road armor or AEV and weld on some tubing so that when you plow into things, zombies they get thrown to the side rather than go underneath. some sort of advanced fuel cell so I dont need to get gas every 4 hours, much steel to reinforce the hardtop and doors. snorkel as BB said.

besides... if the "end" has anything to do with predictions of nuclear war (nuculer if your sarah palin) or radition/magnetism from the sun, all our electronics will be fried anyways...
so the tires will be used for heat, the wheels will be chairs, the doors will be for uparmoring the house/compound, the soft top will be used to collect water (if applicable), the rest of it will be chopped and put to use in contructing necessary items
...and the e-brake will be... well... useless.. kinda like it is now.

I'd build up a proto-type jeep based on an AC130. And maybe a sentry gun or two for camp.

We all know how weird everyone gets on a full moon - just imagine this!
Electronics will be useless. Guns and associated ammo are too heavy. It's going to be in December, so I'm thinking "warm". A thick blanket and a bottle of schnapps will be the only preparation I'll need!
