Cyc 6 miss fire They said there is a flash for the fix. As stated on the forum already. So I guess I'm gonna need my head replaced yippee

I haven't heard one story about anything "grenading". Replace the head, bam you're done. After a significant wait due to back order, mind you.

I question the flash and said this isn't the fix. But the service guy told me it is. I'm sure it's a way for them to make more money now they can bill Chrysler for the flash and next for the head. I was gonna ask if Ivan just order the head now. Lol

my coworker has had his 2012 sidelined for 2 weeks now waiting on his head replacement. im happy i went with my 2011

They always due the flash first. Apparently Jeep requires them to do it. Just drive the jeep around for about 15 minutes when you pick it up and it will throw the code again and take it back. Believe me if you raise enough hell at the dealership, you will have it fixed properly. Anyone that waits 2 weeks for the part to be replaced. I had mine in the shop when everyone on the forums was saying the parts were on backorder. I raised holy hell and made sure I was the biggest asshole they had ever seen. They got the parts by that afternoon and I had my Jeep the next day. They can get the parts if they escalate the issue.
