Mine has almost 2000 miles on it now, the only thing I dislike is the radio, I do not have the infinity system, and the regular radio and speakers sound really bad. So drive one with the infinity system and one without.

personally i like it but some other jeepers will not...

also, i do wish the gas mileage would be better -

This is why I actually passed on buying an 11 or 12. I don't think I could have stomached seeing a '12 FULL of water like my '07 was this past summer. We got one of those freak out of no where rain dousings that dropped 2" of rain in 45 mins. No top or doors. Since then, my drain plugs have stayed out. If the floors didn't get so hot the carpet would stay out too. My A$$ was soaked driving home!!

Love it, but one thing that bothers me is the matte silver vent rings, they always reflect in the sideview mirrors. I'll pop them out and paint them (the outer ones) matte black.

Love it! My first jeep, wish I had one earlier, but I am glad I waited for the 2012. Seriously, I have about 2300 miles on it and this thing puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

If there was one thing I would change it would be the heated seats/remote start feature. It was ~14 degrees this morning and it would be nice to have the heated seats come on when I remote start it. I'm soft, I know.

Some of the trails in the Sierras can become very dusty during the summer months and into fall until the rains start again. With the top and doors off and the windshield up on a 4x4, the dust blows from the rear of the vehicle into the cab. On my previous 4x4, the windshield was very easy to drop and the air over the front really helped keeping out the dust. The visibility was also great without the top and doors on and the windshield down.

I truely wish the Jeep was designed in a fashion to allow for the windshield to be lowered without such a great hassle as it is now. I read about others lowering their windshields and how bad it looks and what a bother it is (plus the fact that it may not seal up as good) so I have decided not to try it.

Other than that, I love the Jeep and look forward to many great trips in it.

had a 2001 and testdrove a 2011 before getting a 12. Love the power. Gas is better then my 2001 but i hear only a hair better then the 2007-2011. It is very capable off road even in the mud with the stock tires. The power is a great help. I really like the interior now as a daily driver then my old one. The inside feels significantly bigger up front and ofcourse having the extra 2 doors helps alot. Now with the interior being a bit more "luxury" there is the concern about getting it dirty. This past weekend I could not even see my radio face as it was so covered in dust. However it is still rugged enough to leaf blow out, hose out the floor then use spray and towel on the dash to shine right back up. One other aspect about the 2007 range is the plastic headrest was replaced with a full cloth headrest.

I do feel the loop exhaust hitting with minor lift and that darn vacuum pump is a pain but not the end of the world.

The infinity is awesome, the new motor is awesome.
The hard top is a must especially for the $700 they charge. you can get a lift from amazon for $100 to take the top off.
Def get the 3.73 gears if you do not get a rubi,
def get the limited slip, it makes the jeep feel great off road
uconnect is awesome if you are a cell phone user
I installed heated seats in mine. i love them, the factory option for $200 would be a pretty good buy as well considering it took me 2 weeks to get mine right.
Its my first jeep, and it is better than I hoped.

Just my HO.
Had mine for a month and a half too (2,800 miles) and have or still have had Jeep 304, 401, 4.0, 3.8 and now the 3.6 engines. With the exception of the 401 in my CJ-7 the 3.6 is the most fun to drive. The 5 speed auto is a huge step up from the 4 speed in my 2007 JKU. Get one, you will not be disappointed.
My only caveat is don't spend the $$$$ for the 730N radio (please).
