Default 2012 Rubicon with 35s

Be interesting to see if the 2012 Rubicon with 4.10 gears and an automatic will drive comfortably on 35s.

I've found nothing so far on the net. Only thing I've seen is a guy saying an Unlimited with 3.73s running 35s was a dog.

I believe the 12 with 3.73 was suppose to be near equal to the 4.10's performance in 07-11's. there is a 12 thread on here listing all the new specs with the new 5 speed auto with the lower 1st gear. Peterson's 4wheel and Offroad this month has a great article on this.

I remember seeing that. That's why I'm eager to see if the 2012 w/4.10s can handle it.

I'm thinking a 2-door (lighter) with the right selection of lighter weight 35s should be able to squeak by.

i drove a '12 today out of personal curiousity. it was an auto (not sure on the gears... it was a sahara...3.73's???), but definitely had more "giddyup" than my '08 auto. i think one could comfortably run 35's, especially with a rubi and the 4.10's with the new motor.

Mine runs excellent. Even pulled a trailer today (about 1,800 pounds of weight) and just set the cruise on 73 mph and let her roll on a hilly highway. Night and day difference between my 2012 Rubicon vs. my older 2011 Rubicon. A must is to change the computer to let him know you have taller tires (AEV Procal), otherwise it would be a dog.

I have 0-60 times on my Mach 1, Cobra, and two other race Mustangs... but not my Jeep.
