Default 2012 sport at Dealer

I was at Moss jeep today getting my Grand Cherokee serviced, and looking at the '12 wranglers my wife and I saw a stock sport, with the exception of some ugly mall crawler wheels and 33" tires. The price was 39k! The worse part was that included the "upgraded" tires and wheels which were priced at $4995!!!
My wife said whoever sells that jeep should make salesman of the year! $1000 for each tire/wheel?? Really??

A Sport for $39k?? $5k for wheels/tires?? This is crazy.
And I think it's just not a good idea to buy a "built" Jeep at dealers - we see some people of dealers that have no clue of what a Wrangler is at all.

Give an award for anyone who buys that Sport, too.

That's just wrong, these salesmen must laugh when the buyer leaves!

When I bought my jeep they charged almost 600 bucks for the "central Florida package". All it was is tint... And they did a crappy ass job at that! Smfh

Another bogus charge is nitrogen filled tires, the salesman ask me why I didn't want that, I said when I deflate for offroad, it's a waste. He said "why would you deflate your tires?"

That's insane!

I bought my 2011 Sport Unlimited earlier this year after my Civic was totaled.

I had searched the local dealers online. One dealer in RI had a Sport Unlimited with the 24S package (bigger tires, power everything, tinted windows, dual tops) listed @ $29K and change. When I went in the salesman said "That's with military and customer loyalty discounts." I pointed out that the website didn't say that and if I didn't get it at that price I was walking. 5 minutes later I signed the papers on my baby.

I guess that's where the term "stealerships" came from
