Great reasons to not upgrade. For me as well in this time of my life, my simple Jeep will do me until I get out of college. Once out, I might look into a 2012.

One other thing I left out was the fact that even though this engine has been proven in other vehicles it is new to the wrangler lineup. I got pretty burned on a first gen car/motor once and swore I would never do that again until the vehicle in question was at least two years on the market that and the fact I will be in the market for another vehicle in two years anyway.

This is not my only vehicle. I also own a 2005 Ford Mustang GT/SC. So if I want to feel the rush of HP, I'll get in that car an stir up the ponies!!! lol

I realize that. It is not actually the fact that they left me hanging but more that I realized I really like the current JK I have to be honest so it's not that big of a deal. I'm glad now that it all worked out the way it did so no biggie. It will not deture me from going back there. Next time I will make an appointment instead of dropping in on them. They are not a bad dealer. I was just being impatient!

Cheers

Glad it's working out for you even though you didn't get a shiny new Jeep.

When you're ready again - plan ahead and order exactly what you want! I'm not sure I'd ever buy off a lot again unless I got really really lucky and exactly what I wanted was there with the right price.

Thanks BigMAK!

I still have a brand new jeep. She's only 4 months old with 7000 km on the clock!!!

I actually got what I wanted to perfectly honest! I think I just, actually I know I got caught up in the hype and fun of potentially buying something else! lol

I normally do my research on things like this but next time I will make an appointment and order rather than take whats on the lot.

I really do love my jeep! I have a room full of parts waiting to be installed. I wanted to hold off installing them until I was sure.

Cheers
