They turn on when its dark, off when its light. The automatic high beam Jeep used on the WK was Smartbeam. That was nice, I loved not having to think about high beams and have the Jeep do the work.

For all of us stuck in JS status for a week+ and no changes ever showing up on insight, my dealer said he shows an ETA for mine of Aug 4. Gives me some hope things will start moving, but would love to see insight reflect what he can see too.

Let me know if the 2012's still have "Since 1941" stamped on the passenger front handle bar like the 2011's. I really like that and hope they haven't removed it on 2012's.
