Not sure, but the regular black shifters are about $10-15 wholesale.

 

My Sport has chrome, but the air vents don't!

 

My black on black 2012 Rubi has the chrome on the shifter

 

Ordered Dozer rubi unlimited 10/3 auto with black leather. Still no VIN.

 

Time for this thread to die! It started back when we were all trying to figure out who was on first, what was on second, back before 2012's could even be ordered... who could get what from 2011 bleed over on production 2012's.

 

Sounds cool- would LOVE to see some pics of that when you get it!

Honestly though, hope you NEVER plan on taking the top off. Black leather in the sun....?

 

Hmmm...for a color that had already been in production to not have a VIN by now, troubling. I was thinking I didn't have one on my order (10/3 also) because I ordered black forest green. Anyone heard anything about the allocation period being full?

 

Just passed a carrier with seven Crush JKs on it headed south into Jacksonville, FL....

Looks identical to the orange they used on the TJs. Nice, but not for me at all.

 

Black forest green's build date is pushed til Nov. 1st

 

I spoke with the dealer yesterday and still no VIN. He didn't know for sure, but he felt that BFGs won't be in production until November. I ordered mine on 10/1 and not even getting a VIN yet is really frustrating, especially reading other folk's stories of getting a VIN within 1-2 days, and taking delivery within 4 weeks of their order. Looks like we'll have to wait until Thanksgiving (but it will feel like Christmas ;-)
