I found an android stereo with carplay from a 2015 Wrangler on the Marketplace. It has all the harnesses, etc. Can I just plug that into my 2013 and have it work or do I need to go through some kind of pairing with the Uconnect box or something?

 

Welcome to JKF.. IMO I'd contact the stereo mfg or an car audio shop/installer. You are going to pull the old radio out so you might hook up what will connect up and see what are the results.

 

You need a different harness for the 13. Different radios in 13s and 15s. Id find a harness on crutchfield. Itll be $15-$20 and theyll give you an install instructions set. Their tech support is awesome as well. I installed an aftermarket alpine HU in my 13 years ago and there were a couple things with wiires that needed to be addressed.
