That's the first time in a while that they haven't offered an orange...

Edit: didn't see the copperhead post. It looks red in the first post

Also on the 14th of Jan, Jeep announced a 3.0L V-6 EcoDiesel for the Grand Cherokee with 240hp/420lb-ft with an eight-speed auto tranny that'll get 30 mpg and tow 7,400 lbs.

If a diesel Wrangler ever actually happens, it would likely be this EcoDisel that they would use to power it.

That granite should look sweet with the tan interior and black wheels

I would be surprised if the JKs get any engine but the 3.6L, but when they release the new body style (I believe the rumor is 2016) I think there is a good chance of seeing a diesel option.

I'm spreading a rumor I heard from an aftermarket supplier, but this supplier heard that there is a good chance that in 2014 all wranglers will have airbags in the seats. - I hope this is not true and it is left as an option for those who want them.

"New for 2014, the Jeep Wrangler's platform will be radically altered to offer totally new, unibody construction with front-wheel drive. Engine choices will include either a 1.4L or 1.8L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, developed in part with Hyundai and oft-referred to as the "GEMA-II". Transmission choices have been limited to just one option, a CVT unit borrowed from Nissan. The outgoing JK's part-time 4wd system will be replaced with a lighter, more efficient AWD setup with a viscous coupling system instead of a center differential for reduced scale weight.

Side, curtain, and knee airbags will be standard as well as a new "occupant retention system" (ORS) which will completely eliminate the Freedom Top in favor of high strength, low-alloy enclosed roof design with a power moonroof. New models are expected to get 22 city / 29 mpg highway on premium fuel. Price for the FWD, 1.4L model starts at $24,205 before destination charges."
I guess CAFE is really messing with our idea of "fun".

Oh come on, hours go by and nobody bites? hehe...

I'd be excited if Granite Crystal was a production color. I believe a dark gray like that was available on the '09's but it was pretty rare. The new Billet Silver (2012-2013) is nice and I hope that continues as well.
