2015 jku blown head gasket repair ?
I have 2015 jku it has mopar lifetime warranty. 2024 they replace engine and transmission which also has 3 year warranty. On April 6 I had a head gasket blow due to radiator fan failure. Dealership said it was just head gasket and nothing warped. When finishing they stripped 2 block bolts. So they had to remove everything and they claim they milled the threads while everything was still in engine bay and called it fixed. I pick up vehicle and within minutes I notice a noise like a turbo or air when I excellerate.. I get home since shop was closed and wake up next morning and there's oil leaking under the jeep. I call them and they say it's nothing. I go to doctors appointment and smell burning coolant and open hood and see there's no coolant in reservoir again which is Exactly what happened when the head gasket blew. I getthe vehicle to dealership and initially say there gonna have to replace engine. They call after 1 hr saying it was an air bubble in system amd it just needed coolant. Can an air bubble be the entire coolant resivour? Doesn't seem possible. They didn't do a block check or check for warpage ? The jeep drove 50 miles with no coolant in resivour there has to be damage right ? Is the dealership covering up the fact there tech damaged the block by stripping the bolts and there repair is causing leaking oil ? Air sound ? And caused another head gasket failure? I just don't know enough to prove this but maybe yall can help. Thanks
this would seem the obvious answer to me. i mean, so many red flags. you don't just walk out to the jeep and have oil under it when there is no issue. you don't just get air sucking sounds and empty coolant bottles when there is an air bubble in the system. i mean seriously, when they open a cooling system for any reason, they are using a vacuum method to refill and pressurize that again......not just topping off the radiator neck like us cheap fools at home do.
