2017 JKU Odd Shifting
Hello,
I recently got a 2017 JKU Auto transmission and it was driving "normally" after I got it but recently it has been shifting at lower points and driving in gear at very low rpm. For instance, when going into 3rd it will start at 1k RPM or 1.2k RPM and I have to work through a "moaning" engine and poor acceleration until about 1.5k rpm and then feels and sounds good.
I have been reading through forums and decided it probably was the adaptive driving feature (however, I do have a pretty heavy foot when driving). I had never reset it but thought maybe dealer did? Anyway I tried reseting it via the grounding and turning the lights nob and did not change anything. Then I took to our mechanic and he said was probably this so he tried the same thing and nothing has changed.
Today on the dash I noticed that the "ECO" light does not go off no matter what after you go into 2nd gear. I understand that this is not a mode and just a light, but even when I floor it, it stays on and I doubt it should be like that.
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar issue?
