Still got my 2008 that I bought new, with its factory lifetime powertrain warranty intact. 145k miles. Runs great.

You guys are making me feel guilty, I’m contemplating trading my two year old 2018 recon with 32000 miles already.

Nice vid, Mark. I should make one of my own! Exactly the same music, but with pics and dialogue about my trips to the ER for when my kids have broken something, oh and when my wife needed toilet paper and I had to ford through a puddle on my way to the store, and that time when I was drivibg next to another JK and we were chatting through our windows and death wobble appeared and I almost crashed into him.

The music is freely available from the YouTube Audio Library. Some is for use only on YT--though you may be able to contact an artist and arrange something special. Some is Creative Commons so follow the specific guidelines called out. Specific songs and artists are listed in the credits at 10:20 in my video. And the audio library is located here ...

Still got my 08 that I drove out of the dealership when it had 7 miles on it. Coming up on 93K and my lifetime powertrain warranty is still in place. Only complaint is that I never have all of the parts that I want.....so it continues to cost me with every passing year. After 11 years....I finally let me wife drive it. Should be set for another 11. Or until my next wife comes along.

Mine’s basically stock when it comes to maintenance and parts, it’s cheap since stock parts are practically given away. My Jeep days are coming to a close with gas prices, ins and reg. Switched my other guzzlers in my fleet to a motorcycle and a gas sipper and it’s amazing how much I’m saving. Got a wife and two young adults. Expensive as hell to have a wife and two young adults.

Was scratching my head about gas prices, but then looked at your profile and see you live in CA. The last time I visited San Francisco, the price was $5/gal, while in Michigan where I live it was $2.60/gal....so yeah, that does suck.

Mine is a 2009, drove off the lot and it said "0" miles on it. Still running great at 177K miles. Although, currently I'm staring at needing a rear main seal oil leak which I don't plan on fixing until warm weather hits in the spring.

This is where I'm disappointed that I don't have my original lifetime powertrain warranty because I was working alot during the time my 5 year inspection was due and the last thing I wanted to be doing during the few moments of free time I had was schedule an appointment to go visit a dealership.

I'll likely get a JL or JT at some point.
