I’ve got a 2007 jk, bought it with a 4 “ suspension lift installed with 37” tires on 17” rockstar rims, the 37’s were a bit too much for me as I don’t off-road much so I changed to 18” Jeep rims with 33” continental all terrain tires, the 4” lift requires replacing the front drive shafts as the originals are too short for positive spline engagement. If you’re sticking with 33’s you can probably get by with a 2.5” suspension lift and be ok with the stock axles.
