Default 3" coil spacers safe???

So I found a set of 3" coil spacers that fall into my budget. I don't really have the money for a full 3" lift kit.

I was thinking it over... is 3" coil spacers safe for the road? I know it's not a huge difference from stock, but significant enough where I'm starting to question how my jeep would react around corners or on the highway.

My goal is a budget (least expensive) kit or spacers for the suspension and a 1" body lift.

Anyone out there have 3" spacers? Anything else you need (brake line extentions, etc)?

i know its a different vehicle, but for what its worth i ran a 3" spacer lift on my ZJ for a long time with 32s. worked great. never had any problems with the spacers themselves, and they were cheapies off ebay. for the price, i'd rock em til you can afford some tera springs.

Quite the contrary 3" is very significant. It is equivalent to the BB offered by some manufacturers. It will still change your suspension/steering geometry just like a coil lift, but without the ride and handling benefits.
