From what I've been told it's not "bad". I did it for a few days... But your spedo will be off, and possibly your shift points ( on my phone can't see if your manual or auto). That's all I can remember though

if you have a Auto it will screw up the shift points, if you have a manual no.

I hope not I've been running my 34.4"s and have no plans on buying a ProCal. don't believe it's necessary more of a luxury. Planning on regearing.

I drove mine for something like 3 years before I purchased a Superchip and reprogrammed. The only issue is your speedo and odometer will be off. I simply did the adjustment in my head to make sure I was driving the proper speed.

After swapping gears for 5:13 I decided it was time to get a programmer and get everything tuned properly.

It won't hurt anything, you just need to be aware of your speed.

Nah you will be fine, as previously stated, your shift points will just be off
You don't HAVE to get it but, from my experience going no procal, to procal...you just wont be getting as much out of your Jeeps power train.

After getting my Jeep lifted, I drove home about 30 miles with the Procal in it's box on my passenger seat....I thought hmm this doesnt feel as good as stock but I can deal with it for having a bamf Jeep....used the ProCal when I got home, took the Jeep out for a spin...It was like driving my pre-lift stock Jeep again. i credit this to Jeep having put a kick ass power train in the 2012...The ProCal just fixed the numbers in the computer so things could run smoothly.

If you consider your Jeeps CPU being properly calibrated for maximum efficiency, a "luxury"...thats uhm, cool, I guess.

I'm not a fan of AEV, especially their overpriced bracket lift. The ProCal is spot on though....Probably because it is so simple :P

Its not really bad for anything, but obviously the speedo and shift points will be off, and it will be a dog...

same here, multilple years on 35s then I reprogrammed with a ProCal, which made a decent difference to comfort and performance.
