Default 4-DR Soft Top Boot - any experience with the Mopar model??

Is any one out there using the Mopar soft top boot for their 4 dr?

There have been a couple of comments about the 2 dr version from besttop but I haven't been able to find any about the Mopar boot specifically about the 4 door.

Thanks - this vinyl cover is driving me nuts!

Traditionally, all the Wrangler's soft tops and parts have been produced by Bestop..... So chances are really good that there is no difference at all, other than one having a mopar tag, and the other having a bestop tag.....

I have the Mopar 4dr soft top boot and I love it! It seems to fit quite well ... has plenty of room for even my sloppy folding. The material seems to be the same as the top, so it's plenty rugged. Stitching is nice and heavy and it has similar clips to the soft top to secure it at the corners.

One thing ... it uses the cross-bar from the rear window (with a seal for the tailgate). The soft top has a nice rubber tube across it, so it's easy to take the bar on/off. The boot has just a loop of material, so it's a bit of a PITA. I've been considering getting a second cross-bar to keep on the boot.

The window roll with it is pretty much just a bag. I haven't used it yet, as I haven't gotten around to buying and cutting some cloth to go between the windows to roll them. I've been considering the clover patch window roll to replace it.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the Mopar boot.

Default Thanks! Pics look great too!

I use the clover patch and hope that it will fit underneath. Here is a small pic...

What do you guys think? Should the clover patch roll fit underneath?

I really like it also. It keeps the soft top clean...

I remember you, AZToad... you've been inerested in this topic (the boot w/ Clover Patch) for a while. The soft top stays above woofer (speaker) with the boot. So, I think you can attatch the Clover Patch underneath.

I was going to take the pics underneath the boot... then, I realized I put the top back on... It's been raining for the past 2 days. Sorry...

Default Figured it would be a matter of time ....

before folks would have opinions about them and actually post pics.

Looks like the clover patch would fit without issue underneath.

Now I have to face the options about the rear bar. Going through the payoffs between having the bar in the way (with this piece of you know what vinyl I can actually lift the area up and shove large tool boxes / boxes from the rear that might not fit through the door width. Haven't bulked up enough to lift some of them in a clean and jerk over the boot but then again we'll probably have it all off most of the time anyway. Just really tired of it looking so great with that vinyl cover.

Thanks for the pics - I'm sold!

Default Soft top boot will not work with the best top flex-a-trunk

The soft toop boot will not work with the Bestop flex-A-trunk. If any one has figured out how to make these two work together let me know. Thanks
