55 degrees? Warm enough!
 

So it was 55 degrees here in the Ft Benning area today. And I've been wanting to drive the jeep with the top and doors off again for a while now. So I figured what the hell. It's warm enough! So I had the wife help me take the hard top off and off to the commissary we went. It was her first time in it with everything off and now she likes the Jeep even more. It was funny though, top and doors off, me grinning like an idiot while she looked like this...

That's awesome. The day it hits 70 in the ATL I'll be right there with ya! 50s ain't gonna happen. :)

That's pretty funny, but I know how you feel. When I lived in Ontario and had my first CJ 5, I thought it would be fun to take the top down on the way to go snowboarding in Western New York. The first half hour was fun, but than the sun went down and it got alot colder. By the time we got to Kissing Bridge, we were freezing. I could barely feel my hands and the soft top had grown really stiff, so it was hard to put back on. We sat in the lodge for about half an hour thawing out before we went up. Mind you, the ride home with the top on wasn't much better!

Yeah by the time we were heading home I was pretty much ready for the top to go back on.

it's gonna be 65 here in LR tomorrow. I got the jeep all washed and vac'd.
I'm gonna take the side and rear window's off in the morning. That way I can drop the top for lunch and the ride home.
tomorrow it's suppose to be around 70.

with recent cold snaps, and snow, etc... I'll do the same at 50.... no problem!

I had my top and doors off for the first time when it was in the high 30s and raining. Had the Jeep almost a month and still hadnt takin the top or doors off and the temptation was to much. lol The day i put them back on was 25 in the mornin on the way to work. Worst day of my life lol

About 15 years ago I had everything off of my one TJ in late November and had to take my cousin home who lives in the Poconos. Long story short, it was a 60 degree day when we started and we were just wearing shorts and T-shirts. Up at his place it was snowing like a blizzard and everybody was looking at us like we were insane driving with no top or doors...I was glad the heater worked as well as it did! :thumbsup::rotflmao2:
