Realllllllllllllly, after 70 years that's it? Wow! A video game like COD Black Ops version looks way better than that. Let's take the next 5 years to prepare for the 75th.

Sorry to say that again.

What a shame. Why Chrysler people cannot get the spirit of the thing?

Why that crap chrome instead of authentic Jeep practicality and sportiveness?
Isn't complicated, after all: why not just make a solid olive green rubi, with real bumpers and black teflon wheels? And, for the anniversary ed., maybe some neoprene details and seat covers. And why not make more wide open partnership with aftermarket industry to deliver this edition with something special?

No, they deliver, again, this shame.
Day after day, they transform the Jeep into a car.
I'm worried.

Some inspiring images, to forget this shame:

Land Rover just made much better use of that color with their new limited edition X-Tech Defender.

Doesn't have IFS yet. That's when I will stop paying attention.

Now that Defender is cool. Looks classic like an anniversary edition should.

Ah hell no. Thank god for my '10 JKU. I agree with most of you. The 70th anniversary should have paid an homage to the start not the yuppy bs they came out with.

Would love to see the paint in person.

Its funny how people get their panties in a bunch over special editions. I guess you all forgot the 20 different iterations of the TJ?
