Default Accessories, what to get, what to pass on

OK, my Jeep Green 4dr Sahara is on order, now I'm looking at what accessories I should get for it. Below is a list of things I think I want to get, but some feedback on what works and what is a waste of money, also looking for good places to buy the stuff and any other suggestions .

New Air intake
Bug deflector
bikini top
soft top boot & window bag
cab cover
spare tire cover
grab handles
door entry guards

Pretty solid list, but I'd nix the bug deflector... others that have purchased bug deflectors have seemed unhappy with the choice. Also, (and this is just my opinion) I would skip the spare tire cover.

Thanks for the quick responses. i live in AZ in the valley of the surface of the sun (i.e. Phoenix area) and a tire cover is almost required due to the heat and sun as it will cause exposed spare tires to dry rot very quickly.

don't waste your money on the air intake. unless you plan on driving at high rpms all the time, thats the only time you will see any hp gains if any.

The Bikini top is nice however if you zip out and remove the windows on a softtop it is almost the same as a Safari top so it is not a must especially considering fall is aproaching and winter is here soon. If you keep the softtop on and windows handy the cab cover is not actually needed however it is handy if you don't want to put the top up but I hear it is just as hard and time consuming. The spare tire cover is a good thing but not necessary it is more about looks (although it does protect the spare from UV).
This all said the whole list is a good one however considering what I said may be an idea and allow you to maybe expand the list and get other things now while planning for the stuff you pass on now for the future.

How about some additional driving lights or fog lights, or both!!! Maybe a brush guard...

I thought the grab handles would be good as I'm fairly short and need to grab onto something to pull into the Jeep, but I found that the grab handles flex a little too much to make them very useful. I generally grab onto the windshield frame instead.

Your list is pretty much the same as what I ended up putting on mine.

Air intake on order- JK is a daily driver on the interstate... I WANT it.

Bug deflector- I did it, and I bought the Quadratec one that had double-sided tape and optional screws. I used two of the four supplied screws. It's tight, doesn't move a millimeter at 80mph, and I'm happy with it.

Spare tire cover- I just used an old desert camo rucksack cover... adds a touch of class and looks old school (it's the old 6-color chocolate chip pattern)

Get a Cloverpatch window roll for your windows, and don't worry about the soft top boot... it stays down all by itself, even without the bag sitting on top of it.

Good list. I need some grab handles.
