Anyone see this item on ebay? It is a custom acrylic skytop for JK 2 doors. Someone did the buy it now. Manufacturer is Wade automotive.

 

I've also seen pics on a 4 door. Its just panels attached to the rollcage. It's open around the edges ( it doesn't keep rain out or offer any security).

 

Think that would be neat to fit into Freedom top when it is time to have the top on. But only if it kept the rain out. Are the front panels on the 2 dr different from the front panels on the 4 dr?

actually on that auction site there are several people selling it. Just do a search for jk skytop.

 

you would think people would take good pictures of there product so you could actually see what your getting

 

Maybe that's why they dont

 

Something like that could be cut into shape with some large lexon sheets .

weird, I didn't see this post, just found the skytop on ebay and came here to say i found it, but searched first and found this thread..

I think it looks interesting, but if it's not waterproof, poo poo.

Reminded me of a thread several months ago where I wished this as a possible aftermarket top.
