I have just received my sport cage and I have put a good coat of primer on it. I also have a can of spray paint that is the color of the Jeep, I was all set to paint it the color of the Jeep and then I started to wonder if I should paint it another color like a black? Let me know what you think.

Let's see a pic of your rig, and go from there.

 

Black would probably be better, in the future touchups etc would be much easier with a semi-gloss black. Also would match your jeep trim....

This is a future purchase for me as well. Wait to install it.

"Powder Coat", you'll be glad you spent the additional $$$ in the end.

I'm planning on Silver for the tubes around the windshield frame. (Same color as "The Needy Whore".) Then black to match the rollbar tube padding covers.

I think the silver matching will "pop" around the frame of the windshield. Offsetting the black dash. It will make it look more, "aftermarket install", while blending stock.

Well, seems like black is the color. I am thinking of the black for the cross bars and then maybe the Jeep color on the bars that are on the sides of the windshield or should it be all black? I am undecided about padding from the maker right now but I will want something there eventually.
