Default AEV skid plate

Does anyone know if the AEV skid mounts under a stock bumper?

Yes, from their web site:

This skidplate replaces the factory plastic airdam with tough 1/8" thick stamped steel, which offers the strength of a traditional part made of 1/4" steel, without the added weight penalty. The skidplate protects the crossmember, steering and swaybar. This skidplate will fit the AEV bumper, stock OE bumper, and some aftermarket bumpers as well.

I'll be getting one someday...

Thanks a lot.

And it's nice to know someone else on this forum is from "The Valley".

Ummmm... if one were to go their website:

http://www.aev-conversions.com/

It would show it's $299.00 for the skid plate.

That front bumper with skid plate does looks sweet...$800 + $300 + $100 for the tow hooks...$1200 without the winch plate and winch...winch might have to wait.
