Default Affilliate Discount

Couple of questions....

1st - Has anyone been able to use an affiliate discount (supplier discount) on a new unlimited rubicon off a lot? The local dealerships will only let me order one at that price.

2nd - This one may be more for a dealer. How does the affiliate pricing work? Does the dealer take a loss or just DC?

It was hard to walk away from the unlimited rubi with dual tops and a mygig on saturday!

I'd keep shopping for different dealers and don't even mention the discount untill the bottom line is being worked out. That 's as good as cash and as a supplier tell them you're still considering a Ford or G.M. product as well because you get their disc. too.
Sounds like those guys don't need your money-the discount is from the manufacturer not the dealer!

Contrary to popular belief or what the dealership would have you believe, the dealership still makes money on this sale via holdback cost.

This statement is completely true!!!

It is essentially the "Friends and Family" discount (for friends, cousins, and such). 1 percent under....

These guys are correct... all done with a control number. I was going to use my affliate discount through my company... but found out my bro-in-law could get me the friends and family discount, so I used that. The websites to get the control numbers look exactly the same.
